Selling a Property

Selling a property can be complex. The laws are currently changing in QLD. Previously Sellers did not have much disclosure obligations when selling, but that is all changing now. Many aspects are required to be considered before you start marketing your property and especially when you're about to sign a contract to sell your property. Its best to speak to a property lawyer or conveyancer before you sign a contract. 

Buying a Property

Buying a property in QLD can be a very stressful and disruptive process. 

At the moment Sellers in QLD don't have any disclosure obligations and therefore Buyers need to be extra cautious when they buy. A contract should have special conditions in them to protect a Buyer should things not work out correctly. 

It is imperative that you as a Buyer speak to a property lawyer or conveyancer before you sign a contract to purchase a property.

If you've gone through the heartbreaking experience of a family law separation... and still need to update your title records with the Land Titles Office... then we can assist you through this process. We will deal with your bank and the lawyers who acted for both parties. It's a pretty straightforward process, but it can take time if the transaction is not constantly monitored.
