Selling a Property

Selling a property can be complex. Since 1 August 2025, sellers in QLD must give buyers a seller disclosure statement and certain certificates before the buyer signs the contract. Many aspects are required to be considered before you start marketing your property and especially when you're about to sign a contract to sell your property. It's best to speak to a property lawyer or conveyancer before you sign a contract.

Buying a Property

Buying a property in QLD can be a very stressful and disruptive process.

Since 1 August 2025, sellers in QLD must give you a seller disclosure statement before you sign. It doesn't cover everything, so Buyers still need to be careful when they buy. A contract should have special conditions in them to protect a Buyer should things not work out correctly.

It is imperative that you as a Buyer speak to a property lawyer or conveyancer before you sign a contract to purchase a property.
